TEAM BUILDING EXPERIENCES

Team Building

Team Building Proposals Face to Face / In Nature, in the Monviso Park

Team building in nature offers a unique opportunity to develop cohesion, trust, and collaboration among group members. The natural environment, far from everyday distractions, encourages open communication and teamwork, creating opportunities to face shared challenges, enhance leadership, and promote problem-solving skills.

Contact with nature also fosters individual physical and mental well-being, improving resilience and the ability to cope with difficulties. The team building experience in the Monviso Park not only helps strengthen group dynamics but also provides an opportunity for reconnection with the natural environment and for personal growth.

It is designed both for newly formed teams and for well-established work groups.

Objectives:

  • Improve mutual understanding among colleagues

  • Enhance interpersonal communication within the group

  • Strengthen team spirit

  • Boost group performance

  • Improve individual well-being and, consequently, collective well-being

Being the Forest

From Understanding Trees to Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing (or “Shinrin Yoku” in Japanese) is the mindful and slow immersion in nature—especially in forests—with the goal of improving physical and mental well-being.
It is not a fast walk or an intense physical activity, but rather a sensory experience that invites participants to pay close attention to the natural environment and connect deeply with it through the senses.

One-Day Program

Duration: Full day, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Welcome at the Merenderia Alpina (welcome coffee)
  • Entering the forest and individual introductions of both guides and participants
  • Nature awareness activity exploring the forest ecosystem—biological, scientific, and cultural aspects—as an introduction to the true Forest Immersion experience.
The activity involves observing (sight) and perceiving (hearing, touch, smell) the details of various forest elements: water, soil, plants, animals…
  • Lunch at the Merenderia Alpina with local products / Readings on the theme of the forest from the Open Library of Ostana “BAO”
  • Two Forest Bathing activities:
      1. Blindfolded walk, trusting a “seeing” partner as a guide

      2. Becoming part of the forest: in a specially chosen area off the path (like a “nest”), walking briefly barefoot and then lying down on a mat with eyes closed, focusing on breathing and heightening sensory awareness (hearing, smell)
