THE ALPINE MERENDERIA

The Alpine Merenderia of VISO A VISO is located inside the Lou Pourtoun Multipurpose Center. At the Merenderia, you can enjoy fragrant sandwiches in the best mountain tradition—rustic or turmeric bread—filled with a delicious range of fresh ingredients of your choice, accompanied by a good glass of wine, a refreshing craft beer, or an organic juice.

For those passing by in the morning, ready for trekking, the Merenderia prepares packed lunches and snacks to take along to the peaks or meadows in front of Monviso.
For those arriving in the afternoon, or joining us for a concert or an aperitif event, there are plenty of generous platters of cheese and honey, cured meats, and indulgent surprises, all paired with sparkling drinks.

The VISO A VISO Merenderia offers you the opportunity to have lunch on site, enjoying the outdoor tables with a spectacular view of Monviso or inside Lou Pourtoun.

The Merenderia allows you to discover our offerings:

  • Polenta with cheese or with stew

  • Sandwiches filled with a wide variety of ingredients

  • Mixed and vegetarian platters

  • Flatbreads filled with a wide variety of ingredients

  • Bud Spencer-style tripe (winter season)

Our vegetarian dishes:

  • Hummus and vegetable sandwich/flatbread

  • Fresh salad with seasonal vegetables

  • Soups with seasonal vegetables
