E-BIKE RENTAL

E-BIKE RENTAL

E-Biking in the Lands of Monviso

Our rental service is called BikeSquare Monviso.

The cycling routes at the foot of Monviso vary in difficulty and are designed to meet all needs: there are routes for families with small children as well as more challenging paths.

Our staff are available to provide information about the accessibility of routes for different skill levels. For Viso A Viso, inclusivity in outdoor experiences is a core principle: we want our territories to be welcoming and accessible to everyone, without barriers.

Train and Bike – A New Way to Travel

Thanks to the restoration of the Cuneo–Saluzzo railway line (Arenaways), you can reach the valley via the Torino–Savona railway, rent one or more e-bikes at Saluzzo train station (we’ll deliver the bikes to you!), and explore the area without using private vehicles. If you wish, we can deliver the bikes directly to the accommodation where you will be staying.

Prices and Reservations

Available bikes: 12 for adults and 5 for children.

E-bikes for children are suitable from 8 years old, and we have all accessories for families with younger children (child seats, trailers, “cammello”).

Rental prices for e-bikes at the Paesana location are:

  • Half day: €30

  • Full day: €45

We can also deliver e-bikes, for a small extra fee, to Saluzzo train station or directly to your accommodation in the Po Valley.

For Sustainable Development of the Po Valley

In 2024, cycle tourism in Italy saw an increase of 54% compared to 2023, with 89 million visitors. We asked ourselves: can cycle tourism be an economic driver for tourism in the Po Valley?

We have started building the tools and conditions to make cycle tourism one of the ways to develop slow, non-extractive tourism that combines sport with knowledge of the territory and the environment.

Since July 2024, we have managed the e-bike rental service at Porta di Valle in Paesana, assigned to us by the Unione Montana dei Comuni del Monviso, as part of the international BikeSquare rental network.

Viso A Viso’s goal is to collaborate with other local organizations to create a structured and synergistic model for providing the rental service more effectively.
