Segnavia is a historic facility in the Varaita Valley, at the foot of Monviso; a point of reference for local communities, hikers, and mountaineers.

The Tavola Calda and Bar
The Tavola Calda at Segnavia offers homemade cuisine with fresh and wholesome dishes. Fresh homemade pasta, panzanella, tomato soup, sausage and beans, stew with potatoes, creamy soups, vegetable soups, typical platters, and many other seasonal surprises. Don’t expect a fixed menu, as it changes according to availability and seasonality—but the quality of the ingredients is always guaranteed!

Marco, the chef of Viso A Viso, previously ran a restaurant specializing in vegan cuisine, so vegan and vegetarian options are always available!

Segnavia also offers a small wine cellar with selected wines from small producers and heroic viticulture, digestive liqueurs made from local herbs and flowers at the foot of Monviso, and mountain craft beers.

Vert – Mountain Shop
Vert is Segnavia’s shop, the perfect place for an ecological and sustainable local shopping experience. You can find books about the environment and the mountains, maps and hiking guides, children’s books, educational games, clothing, hiking gear, and many local products from the Monviso region.

The Garden
From June 2025, Segnavia features a completely renewed garden, created in collaboration between the Viso A Viso Cooperative and “Il Giardino delle Essenze” from Lagnasco: a green space with the most significant plants of the area and a relaxation and play zone. The Segnavia Garden is also a sensory path, suitable for hosting workshops on medicinal, ornamental, and edible plants.

The Auditorium
The Segnavia Auditorium is available for events and meetings. It is a large hall that can accommodate up to 80 seated people, equipped with heating, a video projector, and a sound system.

Between May and September, the cost is €70 for half a day and €130 for a full day. Between September and April, the cost is €90 for half a day and €170 for a full day. Optional additional costs of €15 apply for setup and cleaning.
