Project funded by the European Union           – Next Generation EU.

Type of School:
The School of “O”

“O” stands for Ostana.
“O” represents a female or male character, human, animal, or plant; a drawing to be completed; an identity (individual and collective) to be built together.
“O” can also be read as “Ohh,” an expression of wonder, the engine of all things.

"Let us keep in mind this ‘motor happiness,’ often frustrated in schools today, because there is no movement of thought in children that is not greatly nourished by the movements of the body, by the spaces they traverse, and by the continuous exchanges that arise from working together, constantly changing positions with each other."
— Franco Lorenzoni, quoting Mario Lodi, L’essenziale 2/2022

Viso A Viso, together with the Municipality of Ostana, offers a school from September to June with hours from 9:00–13:00 or 9:00–16:30. The school is based in Ostana as a community and educational space, responding to the expressed needs of young families.
